Acquired the outlet in 2022 as a nonprofit publication under Earthwise Knowledge Initiative. Replaced a single flat institutional subscription rate with a tiered pricing structure reflecting actual willingness and ability to pay across corporate, government, tribal and nonprofit, and individual subscribers. Rebuilt the subscriber database and billing infrastructure and directly renegotiated pricing with existing institutional subscribers.
